Thinking up blog names is hard

Neutrinos probably not faster than light after all. Go figure.

There was a bit of a surprise to the scientific community last year when further testing on faster than light neutrino results confirmed the results and most of the people in the OPERA collaboration in Italy signed them off saying that the theory of special relativity was indeed suspect.

I think that there will be considerably less surprise when OPERA perform more tests now that they’ve tightened up some loose connections in their equipment.

Still, at least this shows what’s so great about the scientific method. People check stuff out. That’s why it works.
